Mitchell "Moe" Olenski, Jr. Obituary

Mitchell “Moe” Olenski, Jr., 77, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2025. 
He is predeceased by his parents, Mitchell and Mary Olenski; brothers Matthew Olenski, Marten “Marty” Olenski; and sister-in-law Ruth Olenski. 
He is survived by his twin brother Michael, brother Mark (Sharon) Olenski; sisters-in-law Dawn and Sherrie; nephews and nieces Rob, Christopher, Amie, Elizabeth, Lara, Lisa and nephew and godson Jeremy; numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews; special friends Tom Jones, Larry Lyman, and Anthony Miller and all the patrons of Mary’s Restaurant. 
He was a graduate of Vestal High School 1966, then attended colleges in Kansas, Wyoming and Nebraska and had a degree in Recreation.  A lifetime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, member of many bowling leagues, and coordinated the horseshoe and shuffleboard tournaments at Mary’s.
Moe was an avid sports fan of NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills and NY Giants. Co-owner and operator of Mary’s on Castle Creek Road.  Enjoyed his daily breakfast at the Red Oak, Piccolo’s and Clinton St. Café. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 4pm to 6pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Vestal at 10am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
