Nancy (Pinto) Carraro

Nancy (Pinto) Carraro "went home" on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 to be with her family.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, her beautiful daughter Marie Borsuk, who left us on July 28, 2023, her parents Joe and Jennie Pinto, and sisters Sandi (Stan) Perkosky, Josephine (Tony) Baldino, Rosalie Piunno and Theresa McDonald.   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Bill Harrison, grandsons Joey and Tina Borsuk, and Mico Borsuk, great grand-daughters Jocelyn, Rylee and Addisyn Borsuk.   She was also blessed with step-grandchildren and their families Bill and Colleen Harrison, Sheri Abbott, Brenda and Paul Higgins and several nieces and nephews.   She was a longtime employee of General Electric.  After her retirement, she remained in Binghamton for many years before moving to North Carolina to be with family.  Even while in North Carolina, she maintained ties to her church, her friends and her neighbors.  She will be remembered for her sense of humor, friendliness and her unconditional love.  She was truly an amazing lady who leaves us with beautiful memories that will live forever in our hearts. 
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton.   The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Nancy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org/donate
