North graduated from Windsor Central HS, Broome Community College and Trinity College where he earned degrees in Engineering and Business Administration. North served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and continued to serve his country for 52 more years through his career in aerospace and defense. He began his career at General Electric with his Dad and ended it at BAE Systems. He was a member of The Parish of Saints John and Andrew and the American Legion. North devoted his life to his family and helping others. He could be found putting up an elderly neighbors storm windows, changing the tire of a stranded motorist, chasing a runaway chicken, putting shingles on a roof, repairing a sewing machine or ushering at church. He approached each day smiling, laughing and learning something new. We are grateful for the excellent care and support from Lourdes Hospice.
