Paul M. Kocak

Paul Martin Kocak 75, of Port Dickinson, NY.  Passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2023.  He was born September 14,1947. He is predeceased by his wife, Carol Kocak and his parents, William and Margaret Kocak.
He is survived by his two loving children, Kathleen Burns and Karen Blakeslee (Michael) of  Port Dickinson. His four beloved grandchildren, Erin Burns, Robert Blakeslee, Shea Burns, and Lily Blakeslee. He leaves behind his sister, Ellen Williams ( Don) of Virginia and his nephews, Joshua (Jenn) and Isaac Williams and many cousins and dear friends he loved so much. 
Paul enjoyed life and working for the Johnson City Fire Department for twenty-three years, He was honored to be Captain before retiring. Paul’s favorite place to be was Myrtle Beach, where he would spend many hours on the balcony enjoying time with his family and enjoying the beautiful weather.  The family would like to thank hospice for making his passing peaceful, especially May and Vicky and all his Nurses and Volunteers for their compassion and friendship.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Clinton Street, Binghamton on Monday June 19, 2023 at 10am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.  Family will receive friends at the Church from 9am to 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
