Paul J. Tarbell

Beloved husband, father and friend to all Paul J. Tarbell passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on October 20, 2022 at the age of 66.  He is predeceased by his parents Hazel and Henry Tarbell; (step)mother Donna Tarbell; brothers Robert and Kenneth Tarbell, first wife Christine (Anthony) Tarbell.  He is survived by his loving wife Mary Margaret (Rauscher) Tarbell; children Lori Tarbell and James Tarbell, Tristan (wife Kristy) Foster; 4 grandchildren; sister Patricia Empie and brother Harold (wife Jennifer) Tarbell; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was employed by Feduke Ford, previously Scoville’s for 48 years; he often joked that he came with the building. Paul was a man who valued family, friendship and hard work.  His loving personality and sense of humor will be missed by all.  He will be remembered as a mentor, teacher, advisor and great friend.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11am until 1pm.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. Memorial contributions can be made to the Adirondack Scenic Railroad www.adirondackrr.com or O.L.
