Paula L. (Dennis) Holbert

Paula Lynn (Dennis) Holbert passed at the Mercy House on March 25,2026, after a long battle with FTD Dementia.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Jane Dennis, brothers Bob and John a infant son Michael, Uncle Donald and Doug’s parents Harold and Dorothy.

Paula is survived by her husband Doug, brother Dick and his wife Holly, sons Jim, Andrew and Keith, sisters-in-law Rose, Barbara, Nancy, Shirlee, Carol and Joyce. Paula is also survived by her Aunt Beanie, cousins Steve his wife Gail and Donna. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Paula was employed by the Johnson City School District. Her greatest joy of the job was interacting with all the children, especially her own children and grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care of Guthrie Hospice during the last month of her life. Also, the staff of Mercy House of the Southern Tier who made her comfortable during her last few days.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 5pm to 7pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Funeral Service will take place 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. She will be buried with her son Michael.
