Rebecca C. (Cornish) Briggs

Rebecca Briggs passed away on November 2, 2023, age of 69.  Predeceased by her parents, Seth and Josie Cornish; sisters, Christine Carr, Deborah Panzone, and Joanne Barbeau.  She is survived by her children, Josie (Richard) Bradley, David Briggs, and Adam (Sarah) Briggs; grandsons Caleb and Grayson, and granddaughters Brynn and Evelyn; sisters Marcia Cornish-Colp, Pamela Cornish, Lynne (Tom) Mignemi, and Lisa (Don) Sudakow.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.  

Rebecca was a psychiatric nurse for the state of New York for 46 years. She enjoyed being a baseball mom, bowling mom, and theatre mom for her children.  But her favorite role was a grandmother to her four grandchildren.  

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton.
