Richard Huttleston Obituary

Richard Huttleston, 89, of Endicott, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021 at Susquehanna Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife, Marian; son, Gary; grandson, Lon; sisters, Pat and Dianne and his parents, Pauline Hoag and Linn Huttleston. Richard is survived by his daughter, Teri Brogdale; great grandchildren, Connor, Ryan and Kenadee; sisters, Donna (Gary) and Judy (Nelson); brother, Gary (Carol). Richard graduated from Greene High School and joined the U.S. Navy, later attending Delhi College. He worked at Binghamton Savings Bank where he met Marian. They were married January 17, 1959. Richard was a hardworking man. With Kurt Franzenburg he started Franzenburg Huttleston Homes, later Huttleston Homes, and designed and built homes in Crestview Heights in Endicott. He ran Huttleston Appraisal Service and also served as a Tioga County Legislator for 26 years. Richard was very proud of the accomplishments of his children and always wanted to see them succeed. Teri would like to thank the third-floor staff at Susquehanna for everything they did for Richard, especially during the pandemic. Per Richard’s request, there will be no services.
His pain and fear are gone, and there is no more sorrow. His life is new.
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
