Richard “Dick” Whitten, 83 from Endicott, NY passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2025. He is predeceased by his parents, Douglas Whitten and Ethel Brink, his brother Gary “Kemo” Whitten, his stepdaughter Jerri LaComb and his beloved pet Geo. He is survived by his life-long partner Carolyn Warren, his sisters Marian (Gary) McManus, Thelma (Robert) Skinner, and Norma Smith. He is also survived by children Sandy Hoyte, Terri Beansley, Lisa Santilli, Sheridan (Jim) Guile, Cindy Whitten, James (Nadine) Whitten, Holly (Jon) Sablich and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dick had a successful 25-year career as an engineer at Singer Link and had a passion for building and driving muscle cars, especially his 1956 Chevy Belair. He was known for his generosity and if you were fortunate to meet him, he was instantly your friend. At his request there will be no services.
