Robert T. Frederick

Robert T. (Bob) Frederick passed away on July 4, 2024.  Bob was born in Scranton, PA and grew up in Binghamton, NY.  He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Alice (Caffrey) Frederick, step-mother Ruth (Holmes) and parents-in-law Dan and Norma Kilbourne.  Also pre-deceasing him are brothers Stanley Frederick, Bill Frederick and Jim Frederick; brothers-in-law Charles Vought and Rob Vought.  

Bob is survived by his wife Laura, his children Christopher Frederick, Debbie (Kristan) Harsh, Michael Frederick, Lisa Frederick and Valerie Frederick.  He is also survived by brothers Joe (Cindy) Frederick and David Frederick, brothers-in-law Wilton Vought (Sarah), Joe Vought (Becky) and John Vought (Lisa), sisters-in-law Michelle (Charlie) Gaynor, Debbie Vought, Lois Frederick and Gladys Frederick.  Also surviving are many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St Mary of the Assumption Church, Court St., Binghamton, NY at 2:30pm.  Calling hours will take place at the church from 1:30pm until the time of the mass. 

Bob fought through many health issues with grace and determination.  He kept his positive outlook through it all.  Bob loved his family, his friends, and all animals.  For those wishing, please consider a donation in Bob’s memory to a local animal shelter or rescue group.
