Robert J. Geiger

Robert Geiger of Kirkwood, NY passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior on March 15, 2025 at the age of 83.

He is preceded by his parents Donald and Sue Geiger.  He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine (Rainy) of 61years; two beloved sons Eric and Donald of Kirkwood; Four grandsons Eddie Somers, Nickolas Geiger, Aidan Geiger and Lucas Geiger all of Kirkwood. Bob was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He gave his all to us.

His love for cars started in high school (North High). He bought a 1932 Ford Pickup and restored it and is still in his possession.  We went on our honeymoon in that truck. He is a member of the triple Cities Steet Rod Club and the Mustang Club. Bob worked at Singer Link for 30 years as a mechanical engineer. He enjoyed working on the challenging projects that were entrusted to him. He faithfully served as a trustee at Grace Point (Twin Orchard Baptist Church) for 21 years.

The family would like to thank Lesley Rivenburg who lovingly cared for Bob in his last days at Cassy Home Care in Susquehanna PA.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, March 19. 2025 from 4pm to 7pm following immediately the service at 7pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY . There will be a private burial at Riverside Cemetery in Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donation to Tunnel to Towers.
