Robert (Bob) G. Wright

Robert (Bob) G. Wright, 72, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Robert D. and Dorothy Wright, sisters Crystal Kearley and LanaKaye Wright. He is survived by his children Kristofer R. Wright and Lisa Edwards, stepson Vittorio Scialdone and brother Donald Wright. He served in the United States Navy aboard the Franklin D. Roosevelt, worked at Universal Instruments for 29 years and was a member of the 20-year Club. He also worked at Hanmann’s Mills, and finally his “retired years” at the MUSA Stiles Post 6223 VFW as Bar Manager serving Veterans. He loved the outdoors hunting and fishing, his two faithful dogs, health and fitness, music and reading. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton. A Celebration of Life and Burial at Vestal Hills to be held later at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
