Ruth Gunther Obituary

Ruth E. Gunther, 93, graduated from this life to her new life in Heaven December 3, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Orrin and Reta (Pixley) Wagner. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond; son Gary; daughter-in-law Sharon; two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her three grandchildren Jason Gunther, Jamie Gunther and Jodi DeLosh; two great grandsons Dylan Gunther and Chayse DeLosh; sister Mae Stoddard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Alex Hunter; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth graduated from Brooklyn High School in Brooklyn, PA; went to nursing school in Binghamton City Hospital until she met her husband in 1944. She later worked at Marine Midland Bank until she retired. She will be laid to rest in South Street Cemetery, Triangle NY next to her husband and son. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
