Samuella "Samie" (Kadlecik) Cadwell

Samuella “Samie” Cadwell, 81, of Windsor, was reunited with her beloved husband of 50 years, Albert DeWitt Cadwell, on July 2, 2025, when she passed peacefully at Mercy House in Endicott, NY, from natural causes.
Born on August 15, 1943, in Binghamton, NY, to Samuel and Edith Kadlecik, Samie was the oldest of three daughters and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her five children: Paul (Kris) Cadwell, Alvin (Patty) Cadwell, Hamilton (Doreen) Cadwell, Ingrid (Blaine) Cox, and Jennifer (James) Stone; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two younger sisters, Rosie Elliott and Susie David.
Samie earned an associate degree from Broome Community College and worked for a construction company as well as preparing taxes. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, and camping, especially with her family.
She will be cremated at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. in Binghamton and laid to rest beside her husband at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
