Sheila is survived by her children Phillip Jr, James (Colleen Deyo), Joseph, Lisa and Carmen Giardina; her grandchildren  Chelsey and Nicholas Fabrizi, Danielle Giardina and Sheldon Davidson, Ashley DeMarco, Dionna DeMarco and Andrea Ford, also her Great  grandchildren, Emery Davidson , Alexander and Gianna Fabrizi, Breanna and Chad Pollack, Carly Wheeler, Nathaniel Smith and Brielle Ford. and a special Brother in Law, Jack Cahill. Also survived by brother- in laws, Michael and Jack DeMarco, many nieces and nephews and her most “special” dog, Zoey, special life long girlfriends, Renee Feldman and Joan Evans.  Zoey brought her so much comfort after the passing of our father.  Mom graduated from St. Pauls Catholic School and was a devout catholic until her passing. She retired from UHS in 1990 to care for her grandchildren. Mom was the most loving mother, grandmother and loved spending almost every day with Alexander, Emery and Gianna, they were her greatest joy. Spoiling them was her favorite pastime, even giving them candy before a meal. She was the all time BEST chef and baker, especially known for her Kolacki’s.  Every Christmas holiday she would make christmas cookies with Lisa and her granddaughters, Danielle and Chelsey, what  amazing memories they made and will be cherished for a lifetime. And for an Irish girl, she made the most amazing Meatballs and Sauce for many to enjoy,  almost every Sunday.  You could always count on being fed whenever you stopped to visit. Mom also enjoyed spending  every summer in Virginia Beach with Dad,  children, grandchildren and friends.  She would make it  her mission to have everyone  she came in contact with  feel her love and affection. What we will miss most is her uncanny sense of humor and kindness.  She will always be affectionally known as “Our Queen”.  Her children would like to give a heartfelt THANK YOU  to her very special physicians who were always available for her, Dr. Tahirul Hoda and Dr. Charles Campbell. To the staff on Seton 1 at Lourdes Hospital ,Thank you for your exceptional care, love and kindness shown to her and our family during this last week.   A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Pauls Church, 282 Chenango St., Binghamton, Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 at 10am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. At that time, our father will  also be laid to rest with military honors, at the request of our Mom.
