Proud parents and avid Chenango Forks sports fans. She and Michael spent many hours cheering on the teams at home and away games. Many summers at Lake Page while growing up and later raising their children there are treasured memories for both her and Michael. Fishing and hosting friends and family for cookouts were central to their summers at the lake. Time at Cape Cod and the coast of Maine with family and friends were for many years much anticipated vacations. Trips to Ireland with good friends Joanne and Frank Kelly celebrated their Irish heritage.
She is gone too soon, leaving grieving hearts, but the family takes comfort knowing that God must surely have a new pair of flip-flops awaiting her on his heavenly beach.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at St. Paul’s Church, 282 Chenango St., Binghamton. There will be no calling hours at Susan’s request. The burial will be private. Those wishing may consider contributions in her memory to the Humane Society.
