Thomas E. Johnson, 42, passed away March 16, 2024 from complications associated with Glioblastoma. He was born on August 5, 1981 in Portsmouth, VA. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Prutisto, Sr., and his great-grandmother, Concetta Serafini. Tom is survived by his wife, O’Dessa Bourque, his daughter, Lysandra Johnson, and his mother, Diana Johnson.
Tom grew up on the southside of Binghamton surrounded by a large and loving Italian family. It was an ideal place for daily adventures in the woods with friends. At the end of the day he would return home to wonderful Italian meals made by his loving grandparents. If you met Tom, you never forgot him. He was a unique person with a large presence and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved his family, heavy metal music, and Marvel movies.
It was a blessing to have Tom in our family for the short time we did. We will always remember the many memories we made together. Some of them are truly hilarious. You are loved and you will be missed.
A private service will be held with a burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Donations can be made to StachStrong.org for Brain Cancer and Glioblastoma research.
