Thomas F. Lyon

Thomas F. Lyon, 71, passed away after a short illness on September 15, 2023 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Orville and Louise; and granddaughter Charlotte Harford. He is survived by his loving daughters Amanda Lyon and Amelia (Dylan) Harford; and their mother Cynthia Lyon; his cherished grandchildren Remington and Addison Harford who loved to call him Pop; sister Nancy (Ron) Burts; nephew Ron Burts Jr.; as well as many family and friends. Tom worked for Broome County Stagehands and Binghamton University Physical Facilities prior to retirement. He loved the lake, the campground and most of all his boat. He was an avid golfer and House of Reardon’s #1 customer. Most of all he loved his grandchildren, they were his world. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21,2023 from 5-7pm at THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton NY 13904. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
