Thomas A. Vianese

Thomas A. Vianese, 80, of Binghamton passed away on July 29, 2022, at General Hospital. Tom was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Christine Vianese and cousins Bob and Frank Ruggerio and Joe and Vincent Vianese.   He is survived by his sister Mary Louise Vianese (Richard Wright), cousins Beverly Vecchio, Connie Vianese, and many second cousins, and his cat Oreo. Tom received Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in mathematics at SUNY Albany and taught mathematics and computer science at Chenango Valley and Port Jervis. He worked at Cyber City as a computer instructor for many years. He loved teaching, Broadway musicals, joking, traveling, and food, especially Italian dishes. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 2pm to 3pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton. A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760. A special thanks to all the caregivers, nurses, and doctors who cared for Tom.
