Thomas "Tom/Doc" G. Dockstader

With a heavy heart, announcing Tom passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 78.  He is survived by his wife of 40 years Karen.  Tom was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Jean Dockstader; twin brother Terry; father-in-law Robert Fehrman and sister-in-law Mary Ann Dockstader. 
Also surviving Tom are his brothers, Rex (Pat) and Roy; mother-in-law Mary Fehrman; brothers-in-law Rob, Joe, Dave and sister-in-law Mary Ellen Meuchelboeck.  Tom is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  
Tom was the founder of BC Corvettes, everyone in the group became our family.  He served as president since founded in 2010.  Tom was a school Bus Driver for 26 years in the Chenango Forks School District.  He said he had the best route in the entire school district.  He loved all students, parents, teachers and staff.  
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11am to 12:30pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Service will follow at 12:30. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.   
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Broome County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
