It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis William Webb, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, who left us peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 52.
Born and raised in Windsor, New York, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a reminder to live life to the fullest. Travis is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Christa; his devoted children, Trent, Taylen and Trey; father-in-law, Clyde; amazing parents, Deborah and Kevin Padbury; Barri Webb; and his sister, Shannon (Corey) Green; nephews Connor and Cullen; and an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much. He was lucky to have a multitude of friends who loved them as if they were his own family and this love was vast and mutual.
Travis was an avid sports lover! He played basketball at Windsor and then went on to play at Broome CC where he made some lifelong friends. He proudly cheered for Syracuse Basketball, Giants football, and the New York Yankees. This did not go without many broken remotes, late night calls to anyone who would listen and a few cuss words. These calls and cuss words also filtered over to the music he loved as well. He loved it all (well except country), and knew every word to every song. Since he was little music was a huge part of his entire being. Loyalty was something Travis was proud of. He was loyal to everyone and everything in his life; including his teams, his family and his friends. There was never a doubt.
Trav and Christa have created such beautiful memories together with their family. This was something he was so proud of! He enjoyed watching his amazing boys play basketball and loved spending time doing odds and ends around the house with his beautiful daughter Taylen. They were his pride and joy! Travis treasured every moment he spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be forever cherished in our hearts.
Every interaction, picture or prank, Travis had that memorable smirky smile with those big blue eyes, which will remain in our hearts forever. He always looked like he knew something you didn’t (which was probably true). He had a weird knack for cleaning and unbelievable OCD! He hated the heat and was usually grumpy about something. But, he always was the first person to check on you if you were sick or needed something. He had a huge heart full of love and would do anything for anyone even if it meant putting his own needs aside. His strong work ethic and long standing work in the construction field made him tough as nails, but was also extremely hard on his body. He worked through it despite the pain. There were many challenges in his life, but he and his family demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience throughout. Though he faced adversity in many ways, he is now at peace, free from his pain and surrounded by the love he so freely gave.
Travis William Webb will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, we love you!
