Victoria Tino Obituary

Victoria (Sabine) Tino, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, 80, of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025.  She displayed a tremendous amount of strength and courage in her final days leading up to her ascension into Heaven.  Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Pat Tino, her children, Patrick (Diane) Spring Hill, FL, Angela (Tino) Bermudez Wesley Chapel, FL, and her grandchildren Michael (Regina), Allison, Justin, Nicolas and great grandchildren Silas and Corbin, also of Florida.  Additionally, she is survived by her brother Richard Sabine, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Moreover, Victoria had many close and treasured friends who brightened her days and warmed her heart.

Victoria was predeceased by her parents Arnold and Hazel (Hathaway), Sabine, brother Ronnie Sabine, and grandson Joseph Bermudez.

Vickie, as she was called by her friends and family, was born in Binghamton where she remained throughout her life where she would live, work, and raise her family.  A true mother at heart, where family was the center of Vickie’s world, allowed her to find work as a Monitor at Woodrow Wilson Elementary where she had the privilege to watch her kids develop.  She then spent 20+ years at Olum’s furniture store where she met Nancy and Ken, forming a lifelong bond that would eventually develop into the ‘Wednesday Afternoon Club’, affectionally known as “WAC” which included Ken & David, Dick & Nancy, and Pat & Vickie.

Vickie was a person who remained humble and compassionate throughout her life.  She had an abundance of patience and compassion which allowed her to listen wholeheartedly, offering “words of wisdom” when needed and serving as “the rock” for her family and friends. For the last decade, she looked forward to spending several months a year in Florida with her family creating treasured memories.  She will be remembered for her big heart, wonderful sense of humor, and generous spirit.

Vickie was a woman of deep faith.  A devoted parishioner of St. Cyril’s church, she found camaraderie in the “couples club, bingo group, and CYO where she prepared the “neighborhood kids” for their Confirmation as well as chaperoned trips to NJ and FL.  She was blessed to be surrounded with so many close neighbors and friends.

Vickie’s big heart and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all.  Her laughter, love, and presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
