William L. Jacobs

William L. Jacobs (Jake), age 76, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025 with his wife Carol by his side. He is survived by his boys Matthew (B.J.) Heath, Anthony (Rebel) VanOrder, James (Tara) Jacobs, Michael (Jennifer) Stevenson; grandchildren Christopher (Courtney) Stevenson, Madison Heath, Alexis Heath, Audrey VanOrder (and her mother Tiffany Barnett), Lincoln VanOrder; great-grandchildren Leya, Teddy & Matthew Stevenson; sister-in-law Paula Williams; brother’s-in-law Chuck Williams, Ty Dibble; and nieces and nephews Holly Williams, Shannon Williams, Adrienne Dibble, Tyler Getchell.

Jake retired from Binghamton Psychiatric Center in 2003 with 35 years of service. He enjoyed cars and racing of all kinds. He did league bowling and horseshoes for many years. Jake loved having breakfast daily at Jodi’s Diner. He will be greatly missed by his cat, Jason.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
