Barbara Gabel Obituary

Barbara A. Gabel passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband James Gabel. She is survived by her daughter Sydney Gabel and son-in-law Jeff Raichlin; sister Nancy Ryan; brother Haydn (Lynn) Purkiss; several nieces and nephews. Barbara was a longtime bowler, a member of the B-JC-E Hall of Fame; was active in the Broome County Senior Games; and was a member of the Women of the Moose (Club). The family wishes to thank Dr. Jane Simpson and Mercy House of the Southern Tier for their kindness and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2pm until 4pm at the Moose Club #1013, 224 Henry St, Binghamton. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760 in Barbara's memory.
