Tonina (Falank) Best

Tonina (Falank) Freer Best, 101, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 6, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband Robert; mother Josephine and father Frank Falank; brothers Joseph (Stella), Dominick (Irene), James (Mary), Frank (Thelma) Falank.  She is survived by her daughter Tina (Donald) Bulman; son Donald (Sherry) Freer; special niece Sandi Falank; grandchildren Michael (Ruthanne) Bulman, Douglas (Colleen) Bulman, Joseph (Luann) Bulman, John (Dawn) Freer, Amy (Steve) Bronson, Joseph (Dacia) Freer; great grandchildren Christi Bulman, Casey (Chris) Cook, Sara (Brad) Cook, Morgan, Jake, Sam, Jack, Leo Bulman, Allix, Lauren Freer, Ricky (Meghan), Rusty (Yoliya), Ryan Bronson, Juliana Freer; great, great granddaughter Kendall Bronson; and several nieces and nephews.   She was a devoted catholic and a member of St. Paul’s Church.  She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by all.  A special thank you to the staff of Lourdes Hospice, especially Patty and Amy for the care given to our family.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30am at St. Paul’s Church in Binghamton.  Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
