Daniel S. Eggleston

Daniel S. Eggleston, 60, passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 24, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He is predeceased by his parents David R. and Judith E. Eggleston. He is survived by his son Michael Eggleston; longtime companion Betty Croft; siblings Amy (Joseph) Gabriel, David (Tina) Eggleston, Thomas (Linda) Eggleston and Andrew Eggleston; many nieces, nephews, cousins, his unofficial extended family: Jaclyn, Jeanne, Tammy & their families and his beloved dog Lexi.   
He always had an epic one liner comeback, hard worker, heart of gold, loved his family and will be missed dearly and loved forever.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC, 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Paul’s Church in Binghamton.  Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Dan's name.
