Nicholas C. Pappas

Our beloved son and brother Nicholas Constantine Pappas 35, of Binghamton NY. Passed away on January 27, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving mother Melissa Pappas, grandparents Gus and Marion Pappas; grandparents Richard and Gail Murphy. He is survived by his son Niko Pappas; father Nicholas P Pappas (Kathy Corey); sisters Alycia (Stephan) Ferry, Nadine (Garrett Summerfield) Pappas; Andrea Pappas (Ronald Baldwin) Pappas. His nieces and nephew, Noella, Abigail & Stephanos Ferry; Leah Pappas. Several Aunts and Uncles including Larry & Christine Giustiniani; Thomas & Susan Pappas; Cindy & Patrick Custer; Peter Pappas; Michael & Laurie Murphy. His special cousins Julia & Gabriel; George & Sophie; Daniel, Candice & Michael; as well as many extended family members. 

Nick was a loving father, son and brother who will be deeply missed. He was the captain of his high school football team for the SV Sabers and was all STAC in football, track & field. He served in the United States Army and continued his career as a contractor with the US government which provided him the opportunity to travel the world. Nick was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. His infectious smile and his sarcastic sense humor will be truly missed! 
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm, with Trisagion Service at 7pm at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Vestal. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the church.  Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery with Military Honors. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 4121 Ohara Drive Vestal NY 13850 or to the Military Veterans Project in honor/memory of Nicholas.
