Philip R. Jones

Philip R. Jones, 71 years of age passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022 at Mercy House in Endicott, NY.  Philip was predeceased by his parents Robert M Jones and Patricia Smith Jones.  He is survived by his brother Alan M. Jones and his sister-in-law Noreen C. Jones He also leaves behind special friends; Johnny Johnson who lives in Washington State, Gennie McNick and Faith Brown who took him under their wings to help him during difficult times in his life.  They were his angels.

Philip worked at the Perfume Factory, Fairplay Carmel Factory and Pancho Pit as a “sous-chef”.   He was a long member of Calvary Baptist Church in Binghamton, NY. 

We want to thank Broome Oncology at Lourdes Hospital for his wonderful care.  Also, to Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott, NY.  We would like to thank all the staff for their super loving compassion care.  Expressions of sympathy in Philip’s name may be made in his memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott NY 13760.

A Funeral Service will be held at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Vestal NY at 11am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 with Minister Ron Marlin conducting the service.
