Carollee A. (Kula) Simrell

Carollee A. Simrell, 70, of Binghamton passed away on April 4, 2017.  She is predeceased by her daughter Christine; parents Andrew and Shirley Kula; siblings Gary, Diane and Karen.  She is survived by her husband Richard Simrell; daughter Amy Habachi; son Peter Simrell; grandson Steven Phommasy; siblings Genevieve (Mervin) Gross, Andrea Pietras, James Kula, Gerald (Joanie) Kula, Maryann (Dennis) Foster, Linda Strathearn, Kenneth (Melissa) Kula; many nieces, nephews and cousins.   She retired after 28 years of nursing from Bridgewater Nursing Home.  She was a caring, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all.  Visitation will be held on Friday April 7, 2017 from 11 a.m. until Noon at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY.  A Funeral Service will follow at Noon at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a charity of one's choice.
